Garfield kids have just wrapped up a project that combined math and art to create an optical illusion. The students first selected a word or number that either described themselves or was important to them. They then designated a spot on their paper to be the vanishing point. Using a ruler they followed specific rules to connect their letters to the vanishing point. Once drawn and colored the kids had the choice to either design a background or to cut the project out and glue it onto background paper.
