From time to time a parent will offer to donate some sort of supply to the art room. These donations are a bit like finding money-I teach hundreds of kids every week and we do go through a LOT of supplies. Last week we were gifted with several hundred pages of Jack-O-Lantern face stickers. Kindergarten has been the first to use them. It was perfect timing as they had just gone on a field trip to a local pumpkin patch. The kids first drew two pumpkins, then painted them and cut them out. After gluing their pumpkins to background paper they used the stickers to create faces on the pumpkins-the results were-well a picture is worth a thousand words, not to mention the look on the kids faces!
